Maintenance Section Head - Feedmill (Electrical)

Sayed Farms Limited in Ibadan, Oyo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Section Head for its feedmill with a strong engineering background. The role requires at least eight years of maintenance management experience, preferably in feedmill, FMCG or manufacturing operations. The position involves overseeing plant maintenance, equipment reliability, utilities management and maintenance budgeting to support production with minimal downtime. The successful candidate will supervise maintenance activities for feedmill machinery and related systems and coordinate with production and other departments. What you would do
- Supervise installation, inspection, servicing and repair of feedmill machinery and production equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
- Oversee maintenance of feedmill equipment such as hammer mills, pelletizers, mixers, conveyors, elevators, boilers and packing machines.
- Manage industrial utilities including power generation, electrical distribution, compressors and boilers.
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditure, plan CAPEX/OPEX and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and allocate duties.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance and improve reliability.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs, spare parts inventory, equipment performance and costs while ensuring safety compliance.

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of eight years' experience in maintenance management in feedmill, FMCG or manufacturing operations.
- Professional registration or certification with COREN, NSE or other recognized bodies.
- Strong knowledge of feedmill machinery, industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance systems.
- Understanding of industrial utilities including boilers, compressors, power generation and electrical systems.
- Experience in maintenance budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning and cost control.
- Strong leadership, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
