About this role
The Maintenance Planner plans, schedules and coordinates maintenance to keep production and utility assets well maintained. It ensures the right people, spare parts, tools and resources are available at the right time to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability. The role works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain teams to improve maintenance performance.
What you would do
- Plan and schedule preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance work orders and equipment master data in SAP/CMMS.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain.
- Ensure spare parts, tools, manpower and other resources are available before scheduled maintenance.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance and maintenance costs.
- Maintain equipment records, BOMs and maintenance documentation.
What they are asking for
- HND/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' engineering experience within FMCG manufacturing environments.
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Practical experience with SAP PM or another CMMS.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills; good stakeholder management and communication skills.
