What you would do
- Maintain and repair generators, transfer switches, air compressors and related components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures in power systems.
- Monitor and report on energy consumption and power quality across power sources.
- Manage preventive maintenance activities and procurement of parts.
- Prepare cost estimates for maintenance and projects; track budgets and expenses.
- Coordinate with power distribution companies to ensure reliable power supply.
- Lead and develop maintenance teams; conduct on‑the‑job training and mentorship.
- Implement process improvements and technology adoption in power house operations.
- Develop and monitor maintenance plans and performance targets.
- Maintain logs and reports for maintenance work orders and energy metrics.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 6 to 8 years hands-on experience with generators (diesel and gas), boilers and related electrical systems.
- At least 3 years in a senior engineer role within a beverage bottling company.
- Experience in budgeting, people management and cross‑functional coordination.
- Knowledge of bottling operations, Safety, Quality, Environment and GMP standards.
- Certifications such as CMRP or similar are an advantage.
- Exposure to plant manufacturing operations, project planning and power plant expansion is a plus.
- Strong communication, influence and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate strategy into unit plans and manage change.
