Maintenance Engineer
About this role
Nutri K Limited seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its Production Department in Kano. The role involves ensuring the reliable, safe and efficient operation of all plant machinery, equipment and utilities through preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance in accordance with company standards, safety regulations and production requirements.
What you would do
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance according to approved schedules.
- Monitor equipment condition and performance to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
- Coordinate emergency repairs safely and efficiently.
- Support installation, commissioning and testing of new machinery and equipment.
- Propose modifications to equipment to enhance reliability and efficiency.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance principles and practices.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals and prepare maintenance reports.
