Maintenance and Equipment Technician

What you would do
- Calibrate measuring tools, testing simulators and laboratory equipment according to specifications
- Inspect workshop equipment before practical training sessions
- Enforce tool safety protocols and supervise maintenance apprentices and assistants
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform instrumentation checks
- Carry out HVAC repairs across DATI facility centres
- Maintain an accurate register of tools, instruments and spare parts
- Request replacement components before stock runs low
- Perform routine preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation assets
- Diagnose and repair power systems and machinery faults
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
What they are asking for
- Minimum OND or Trade Test / Apprenticeship Certification in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- 3+ years of practical experience in industrial equipment maintenance, electrical diagnostics, instrument calibration, and machinery repair
- Technical skills in equipment troubleshooting, mechanical/electrical diagnostics, instrument calibration, HVAC repairs, and workshop tool safety management
- Meticulous with safety and calibration logs
- Organised in spare parts inventory management and maintaining equipment uptime
- Ability to work across training operations and technical departments
- Proactive in responding to equipment breakdowns within 30 minutes
