What you would do
- Coordinate import and export shipments and processing for clearance
- Prepare, review and maintain export documents such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading
- Liaise with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, port authorities and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Customs Service requirements and relevant regulations
- Coordinate permits and regulatory documentation (NAFDAC, SONCAP where applicable)
- Monitor clearance processes, shipment status, port activities and delivery timelines
- Verify accuracy of shipping documents and resolve discrepancies
- Track duties, charges and logistics costs and reconcile documentation
- Maintain organised records of customs declarations and related transactions
- Identify issues and propose process improvements

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or import/export operations

- Excellent coordination, communication, compliance and problem-solving abilities
