Logistics Officer
About this role
A full-time Logistics Officer role based in Lagos, for candidates with experience in oil and gas logistics, to coordinate movement of personnel, equipment and materials and support offshore and onshore operations.
What you would do
- Monitor logistics costs and support cost-control initiatives
- Resolve transport, delivery, documentation, and scheduling issues
- Coordinate delivery, receipt, storage and dispatch of materials and equipment
- Coordinate crew movements, mobilisation, demobilisation and travel arrangements
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to operational locations
What they are asking for
- 5–7 years’ relevant logistics experience in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas logistics and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems
- Experience supporting offshore/onshore operations is highly desirable
- BSc/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Core competencies in inventory and materials handling, vendor management, problem solving and communication, crew mobilisation, logistics and transportation management, cost control, documentation and reporting, supply chain coordination, planning and HSE awareness
