Logistics Assistant
About this role
A Logistics Assistant to support multi-sectoral operations in Plateau State, performing procurement, logistics and facility management tasks under supervision. For candidates with a background in logistics or related fields and prior NGO/INGO experience.
What you would do
- File procurement documents and maintain electronic archives
- Track and verify original invoices before payment
- Issue tender documents to vendors after tender announcements
- Update suppliers lists and price lists; monitor price validity
- Enter data in procurement software (REGOLO) and upload documents
- Assist with fuel management, asset inventory, premises contracts, staff welfare supplies, travel arrangements, vehicle fleet and generator maintenance
What they are asking for
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- At least 2 years experience with an INGO or UN
- Knowledge of procurement and logistics principles and donor processes
- Good communication, negotiation and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work independently and with a team, and manage multiple tasks under pressure
