About this role

The role is for a Legal Officer/Company Secretary at Liquid Bulk Limited, a fully indigenous energy company. What you would do

• Prepare agreements and other legal documents for the company’s business
• Support company secretarial duties, including preparing meeting agendas, attending meetings, taking minutes and following up on action points
• Conduct legal research
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage applications for regulatory licences and permits
• Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory and internal policies
• Review legal documents on oil and gas transactions across upstream and midstream activities

• Second Class Upper degree in Law
• Admitted to the Nigerian Bar
• Minimum of 5 years litigation experience in a reputable law firm or oil and gas company
• Master’s degree in oil and gas law or related field (advantage)
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills; good written and oral communication
• Deep knowledge of corporate and regulatory rules and oil and gas industry regulations
