About this role
The Legal Executive role is based in Lagos and provides legal and corporate advisory support to Chairborne Global Services Limited, ensuring that activities, contracts, policies and decisions comply with applicable laws. The position involves managing internal legal affairs, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, identifying legal risks, supporting governance, and coordinating with external solicitors and regulatory authorities.
What you would do
- Provide timely legal advice to management and departments on corporate, commercial, operational, employment, contractual and regulatory matters
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, memoranda of understanding, service agreements, leases, employment documents, NDAs and other legal instruments
- Manage internal legal affairs and maintain records of legal documents, notices, correspondence and legal matters
- Monitor contractual obligations, key dates, renewals, expirations and compliance requirements
- Liaise with external solicitors, regulators, government agencies and other authorities on litigation, regulatory matters and related issues
- Support corporate governance and statutory compliance, including board and management documentation

- LL.B from a recognised institution and called to the Nigerian Bar in good standing
- Minimum of 7 years' post-call experience in corporate, commercial or in-house practice
- Demonstrable experience in managing internal corporate legal affairs, contract management, legal advisory, compliance and risk management
- Strong ability to draft, review and negotiate commercial and corporate agreements
- Good knowledge of Nigerian corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory and contract law
- Experience liaising with external solicitors, regulators, government agencies and other professional advisers; in-house experience is advantageous
