Legal Compliance Officer
About this role
Aureole Consulting Limited seeks a Legal Compliance Officer to oversee capital markets, investment management and financial services compliance from its Wuse II, Abuja office. The role targets candidates with extensive experience in asset management or capital markets and strong legal drafting and advisory skills.
What you would do
- Oversee AML, KYC and investor onboarding processes.
- Provide legal oversight on investment structures and documentation.
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments and investigations.
- Review investor communications, agreements and fundraising materials.
- Train staff on compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage regulatory filings and liaise with regulators, auditors and external counsel.

- 9–10+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in asset management, investment or capital markets.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical and advisory skills.
- LL.B and BL mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, AML/KYC and investment structures.
- Experience in capital markets, investment regulation or financial services compliance.
