Legal and Compliance Manager
About this role
A Legal and Compliance Manager role at Alaro City in Lagos, responsible for drafting and reviewing legal and corporate documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the legal and compliance function. What you would do
- Draft and review legal documents and contracts
- Identify risk factors in transactions and suggest mitigations
- Provide litigation drafting support to the Head of Legal
- Assist with corporate governance materials and board administration
- Assist with company secretarial duties and statutory filings
- Coordinate compliance programmes and training; monitor legislation and regulatory changes

- Minimum 15 years of core legal experience
- Called to the Nigerian Bar
- Strong expertise in real estate, utilities and infrastructure, and corporate/commercial transactions
- Excellent communication, report writing and IT skills
