Lead Reservoir Engineer
About this role
A Lead Reservoir Engineer is sought to manage reservoir engineering requirements, build and update performance models, and own production forecasting and field economics for an offshore marginal field in Lagos. The role targets candidates with substantial reservoir engineering experience, including well test interpretation and early oil start-ups, to drive field development and life-cycle surveillance.
What you would do
- Own reservoir engineering requirements for data acquisition and design of tests
- Build and maintain the reservoir performance model through extended well testing
- Manage the field's volumetric and resource base and mature resources to reserves
- Lead production forecasting and align economics and breakeven models with forecasts
- Contribute reservoir input to the post-first-oil Field Development Plan
- Oversee reservoir management and surveillance throughout field life
What they are asking for
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline
- 6+ years in reservoir engineering with experience in well test or extended well test interpretation or first-oil start-up
- Resource and reserves classification under SPE-PRMS with commerciality assessment
- Production forecasting integrated with an economics model
