Lead Reservoir Engineer

About this role

A Lead Reservoir Engineer is sought to manage and develop the reservoir strategy for a Nigerian offshore field, from post-first-oil planning through field life surveillance. The role focuses on building reservoir models, forecasting production, and qualifying reserves with commerciality.

What you would do

• Lead input to the Field Development Plan after first oil
• Own reservoir management and surveillance through field life
• Develop and maintain the reservoir performance model
• Own production forecasting and align field economics and breakeven model
• Oversee data acquisition requirements for wells and interpret results
• Manage volumetric/resources basis and move contingent resources to reserves as commerciality is established

What they are asking for

• 6+ years in reservoir engineering including well test or EWT interpretation
• Experience with SPE-PRMS reserves classification and commerciality tests
• Production forecasting linked to an economics model
• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline
