Lead Production Technologist

What you would do

• Solve complex well problems with minimal supervision.
• Model and calibrate wells using Prosper; run predictions and diagnostics.
• Manage wells and reservoir potentials, technical limits, operating envelopes and well integrity for assigned assets.
• Lead intervention activities (wireline, coiled tubing) and supervise field operations, including QC of testing and surveillance programmes.
• Lead small project teams to deliver production engineering solutions.
• Design artificial lift systems (gas lift and ESP).

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 to 8 years relevant experience, including minimum 5 years PT work experience in an oil and gas producing company.
• Broad understanding of other E&P disciplines and skills in key Production Technology specialties.
• Core production technology capabilities: well modelling and performance; production system optimisation; sand control and management; well integrity management and determining well operating envelopes.
• Experience in planning and design of well intervention activities; HSSE considerations in well management; completion design and supervision.
• Ability to lead small project teams and mentor younger engineers; results oriented and commercially focused.
