Lead Maintenance M&E Power Engineer / Site Facility Manager
About this role
A Lead Maintenance M&E Power Engineer / Site Facility Manager to act as the senior technical authority on a high-profile facility in Lagos. The role focuses on managing a complex power infrastructure including grid supply, a solar hybrid system, and large diesel generators, while leading on-site engineering teams and client interface.
What you would do
- Oversee the integrated power supply architecture and ensure uninterrupted power delivery
- Manage ATS/AMF operation, log changeovers, and investigate anomalies
- Monitor the solar hybrid system and optimise dispatch to reduce diesel use
- Supervise HV/LV electrical distribution and conduct switching per plan and permits
- Plan and supervise generator maintenance, fuel management, and related inspections
- Lead and review electrical maintenance work, prepare technical reports, and manage on-site emergencies
What they are asking for
- BEng or BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or closely related)
- Full COREN registration as a licensed engineer
- 7–10 years post-qualification experience, at least 3 years in a maintenance role at a large facility
- Hands-on experience with grid-connected HV/LV systems, diesel generator plants 500 KVA and above, ATS/AMF, solar PV/hybrid systems, and UPS/battery systems
- Authorised HV switching competence
- Experience leading technical teams and interfacing with clients and OEMs
