About this role

Caring Habitat is seeking a Laundry Personnel for their rehabilitation facility. The role involves handling a range of linen and garment items, operating and maintaining laundry equipment, and ensuring items are clean and presentable according to procedures. The position requires monitoring cycles, pretreating stains, inspecting items for quality, and keeping records of processed laundry. The job also includes maintaining the laundry area, reporting equipment issues, managing supplies, and assisting with additional duties as assigned. Preference will be given to applicants living around Ajah and its environs. The employer offers a net salary of 70,000 Naira plus benefits including leave allowance, HMO, and a 13th month salary.

What you would do

• Sort and wash, dry, fold and iron linen and garments as per procedures
• Operate and maintain washers, dryers, ironers, and pressing machines
• Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings for best results
• Pre-treat stains and handle delicate items with care
• Inspect items for quality and cleanliness
• Maintain records of laundry processed and report damaged or missing items
• Keep the laundry area and equipment clean and safe
• Report equipment malfunctions to the Facility Manager
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies and inform when restocking is needed
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor
