Laboratory Technician
About this role
Philomath University in Abuja is inviting applicants for a Laboratory Technician role in the Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences. The position is for full-time work and open to candidates from all religious backgrounds. Candidates must hold a ND or equivalent in Science Laboratory Technology and be registered, certified, and licensed by the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT).
What you would do
- Perform routine laboratory tasks and prepare experiments as directed.
- Maintain and organise laboratory equipment and reagents.
- Record data accurately and assist with basic analysis.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the lab.
- Assist in training or guiding junior staff or students as required.
