Laboratory Technician
About this role
The role is for a Laboratory Technician at NutriK FZE in Kano. The position involves performing routine and specialised lab tests on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. What you would do
- Conduct routine physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on materials and products.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and testing solutions according to SOPs.
- Record, calculate, and interpret test results accurately.
- Verify results meet specifications and report deviations.
- Operate laboratory equipment safely and correctly.
- Calibrate, verify, and perform basic maintenance on instruments.
- Maintain cleaning, handling and storage of lab equipment.
- Keep accurate lab records, logbooks, and test reports.
- Submit test reports to relevant departments in a timely manner.
- Follow GLP and quality procedures; participate in audits and non‑conforming investigations.
