Laboratory Analyst

What you would do

• Attend to jobs assigned by QC supervisor and QA manager
• Raising of work orders
• Assist in special analyses as required
• Conduct weekly physiochemical evaluations of semi and finished goods
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly summaries
• Calibrate equipment and manage reagent preparation/standardisation
• Ensure proper documentation of results and data retrieval
• Maintain stock levels for reagents and stationery and update buffers when needed
• Ensure data and results are accessible and stored in logs/files
• Achieve OTIF (on-time in-full) for all analyses and prepare weekly review reports

• BSc, HND or OND in physical science, chemistry, industrial chemistry or related laboratory science or chemical engineering
• Basic operational software knowledge
• Good understanding of GMP (ISO 22716:2007) and QMS (ISO 9001:2015)
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar role
• Willingness to work longer hours when required
• Strong laboratory analytical skills and problem solving ability
• Effective time management skills
