About this role
The role is for a Kitchen Staff member in the hotel kitchen of Khadasha Innovations Africa in Lagos. The successful candidate will assist with ingredient preparation, keep work areas clean and hygienic, and support the kitchen team to maintain standards and efficiency.
What you would do
- Assist with washing, peeling, cutting, portioning and preparing ingredients.
- Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation and service.
- Clean and sanitise workstations, utensils, equipment and kitchen areas.
- Receive, arrange and store food supplies; ensure ingredients are labelled and stored properly.
- Maintain stock rotation and minimise food wastage; dispose of kitchen waste properly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures and carry out other kitchen duties as assigned.

- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, catering business or commercial kitchen is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
