A Junior Media and Social Media Lead is sought to manage the school’s digital presence, create visual content, and lead online engagement to boost enrolment and parent/alumni involvement for a group of Nigeria’s co-ed schools in Lagos. The role targets someone with hands-on media skills and experience in social media management within education or youth-focused brands.

What you would do

• Plan, capture and edit visual content including photos, short-form video and graphics.
• Manage daily posts, stories and updates across social channels.
• Write and design copy for social media, newsletters, website updates and announcements.
• Ensure brand consistency across assets and messaging.
• Maintain an editorial calendar aligned to term events and admissions cycles.
• Monitor community interactions and route inquiries to the appropriate school team.

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, English or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Experience with mobile/DSLR photography and video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot).
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) and familiarity with meta suite tools and web analytics.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; able to engage with students, staff, parents and leadership.
