About this role

A junior lawyer role in a reputable oil and gas law firm based in Ikeja, Lagos. The position is suitable for a candidate with post-call experience who can support legal research, drafting, case preparation and advisory work under supervision.

What you would do

• Maintain legal records and documentation
• Conduct legal research on Nigerian laws and oil and gas regulations
• Review contracts, pleadings, agreements, opinions and briefs
• Liaise with courts, regulatory bodies and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with laws and procedures
• Support senior lawyers in litigation, negotiations and client advisory matters

• Minimum of 2 years post-call experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills
• Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and called to the Nigerian Bar
• High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail
