Junior HSE Officer

What you would do
- Monitor workplace activities for compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct routine safety inspections and identify hazards
- Assist in implementing safety procedures and risk assessments
- Participate in safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes
- Report incidents, near misses and unsafe practices
- Ensure proper use of PPE
- Maintain HSE records and support incident investigations
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field
- 1 to 2 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and hazard identification
- Good communication, observation and reporting skills
- HSE certifications are an added advantage
- Must reside within Ikorodu and its environs
