Junior HR Officer

Ascentech Services Limited seeks a Junior HR Officer to support HR operations for a wood manufacturing factory in Oshodi, Lagos. What you would do
- Support onboarding and orientation for new employees
- Assist with employee grievances, disciplinary documentation, and policy compliance
- Prepare basic HR reports such as headcount, recruitment, and attendance summaries
- Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate follow-up
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, absenteeism and leave records
- Respond to employee enquiries and support staff welfare initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR databases
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Support staff training, safety awareness, and other HR activities
- Liaise with factory supervisors on staffing needs and workforce management

- 1–3 years of relevant HR experience
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related discipline

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced factory environment
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality
