Junior Finance Analyst

About this role

Role for a highly analytical, commercially minded finance professional to support strategic projects and investment decisions. Based in Lagos, the role requires strong experience in financial modelling, investment analysis, business valuation and corporate finance.

What you would do

• Develop and maintain detailed financial modelling for businesses, projects and investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial statement analysis including revenue, profitability, cash flow and balance sheet.
• Support business valuation using appropriate valuation methodologies and financial assumptions.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, scenario analyses and sensitivity analyses.
• Assist with due diligence and transaction-related analysis.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management, investors and other stakeholders.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Transaction Advisory or Project Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience within an Investment Bank, Corporate Finance Advisory or Management Consulting firm.
• ACA (ICAN) qualification mandatory.
• FMVA (CFI) or Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) certification required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and financial statement analysis.
