Junior Commercial Broiler Farm Officer
About this role

What you would do
- Manage water, mortality, litter, environmental and biosecurity practices.
- Maintain farm records and generate reports on flock performance.
- Monitor flock health, vaccination and body weight, FCR and overall performance.
- Supervise Farm Attendants and ensure adherence to approved production standards.
- Escalate deviations from standards promptly.
- Oversee feed management and daily farm operations.
- Track mortality, litter condition, and environmental parameters.
- Record keeping for herd health, vaccination schedules and outcomes.
- Ensure timely reporting and compliance with farm targets.
- Support cost-efficient and productive broiler production processes.
What they are asking for
- BSc/HND/ND in Animal Science, Animal Production, Agriculture, Agricultural Technology or a related discipline.
- Practical knowledge of commercial broiler production.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience for Officer II; stronger experience may qualify for Officer I/Senior Farm Officer.
- Poultry production certification or training is an advantage.
