Junior Civil Engineer

What you would do
- Assist senior engineers with civil engineering designs, calculations and documentation.
- Produce, revise and review technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Support construction site activities including inspections, progress monitoring and quality checks.
- Apply Nigerian construction codes and standards to project work.
- Contribute to structural design and infrastructure tasks under supervision.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors and consultants to maintain schedule.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports and as-built documentation.
- Assist with health, safety and environmental compliance on site and in the office.
What they are asking for
- BEng or HND in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 2 to 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, drawings and standards
- Basic knowledge of Nigerian construction codes and practices (desirable)
- Exposure to construction sites, structural design or infrastructure projects (preferred)
- Internship or site experience welcomed
- Familiarity with Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro or similar software (advantageous)
- COREN registration, eligibility or graduate membership is an advantage; NSE or equivalent body membership desirable
- NEBOSH, ISPON or HSE Levels 1-3 certification an advantage
