Junior Architect

The Place restaurant in Lagos is seeking a Junior Architect. The role is for candidates with an OND or HND in Architecture or Environmental Design and about 1-2 years of experience, including an architectural internship. What you would do

• Conduct site reconnaissance for proposed new site.
• Design and draw conceptual plans for a new outlet, including equipment, electrical and ceiling layouts.
• Carry assignments to completion with independence in accordance with project objectives, professional standards, and policies.
• Inspect ongoing construction to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Prepare materials, write construction specifications, and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
• Assist in visual presentations (interiors and exteriors) for club and eatery.

What they are asking for

• OND or HND in Architecture or Environmental Design.
• 1-2 years of experience as an architect, including at least one year of internship; some field experience.
• Competency in AutoCAD, Revit and Corel Draw; knowledge of other software is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated functional and technical skills; action oriented, thorough and innovative.
• Portfolio of previous projects is required.
