Junior Accountant

Teestone Hotels & Apartments in Ikeja, Lagos is looking for a Junior Accountant to support the hotel’s Finance and Accounts Department with the day-to-day financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling revenue, monitoring expenses, processing invoices, and assisting with financial reporting. It is suitable for candidates with accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.

What you would do

• Record daily hotel financial transactions.
• Reconcile daily hotel revenue.
• Verify daily sales reports, cash collections, POS transactions and payment records.
• Process supplier invoices, receipts and payment requests.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and preparation of management accounts.

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with hotel accounting or POS systems is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
