Junior Accountant
About this role
A junior accountant role at Strivo Labs in Lagos (Ikeja area) for candidates with basic to mid-level accounting experience. The position involves day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting support, and ensuring accurate records for payroll, invoices, and reconciliations.
What you would do
- Liaise with vendors, clients, banks and other stakeholders on financial matters
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents
- Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
What they are asking for
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional accounting certification or part-qualification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Must reside in Oshodi or environs and be able to commute to the workplace
