What you would do
- Assist with payroll, tax schedules and statutory returns
- Maintain filing and documentation of financial records
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash and bank activity
- Maintain accounting records, ledgers and supporting documents
- Track accounts receivable and payable including rents and real estate transactions
- Record daily financial transactions (receipts, payments, expenses)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Help prepare monthly financial reports, budgets and expense schedules
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
- Monitor customer payments, outstanding balances and supplier obligations
