Journey Analyst
About this role
The Journey Analyst will monitor and coordinate truck journeys to ensure safe, timely and cost-efficient deliveries, providing real-time support to drivers and identifying operational issues. The role focuses on analysing journey data to improve route and fleet efficiency and supporting decision-making across TruckSoft's logistics operations.
What you would do
- Plan and monitor real-time truck movements using telematics and journey management systems
- Identify, escalate and resolve operational delays and escalations promptly
- Collect, analyse and report on journey metrics and KPIs
- Provide actionable insights to improve fleet efficiency and performance
- Monitor compliance and safety during journeys
- Support drivers and delivery teams with real-time guidance
What they are asking for
- Bachelor degree, HND or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in logistics, fleet operations, journey management, transport coordination or related role
- Practical experience using GPS/fleet tracking and journey management systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records
- Ability to use Excel and analytical tools; familiarity with AI tools is an advantage
