A Lagos-based financial institution is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their engineering team. The role focuses on building and maintaining backend services, microservices, and API integrations for the bank’s digital ecosystem. What you would do

• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs to connect internal banking apps with fintech partners and payment gateways
• Write and optimise SQL queries for databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Create unit tests with JUnit and work with QA to fix bugs
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and code reviews
