IT Support Officer
About this role
An IT Support Officer role based in Lagos, supporting Hoop Telecoms staff with hardware, software and network issues to keep office systems and communications running smoothly. It targets applicants with 1 to 3 years in IT support or related roles who are organised and customer‑focused.
What you would do
- Serve as first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues
- Configure and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, IP phones and office peripherals
- Administer user accounts, permissions and email access across platforms
- Monitor LAN, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity across office locations
- Track IT assets, software licenses and hardware and assist in backups and security measures

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field
- 1 to 3 years experience in IT support, helpdesk or systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and VoIP/ IP telephony setup
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routers, switches)
- Good problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
