IT Specialist
About this role
Kursi Group Limited in Abuja is seeking an IT Specialist to lead the group’s IT management across multiple locations, supervise the local IT Officer at Bode Saadu and Ilorin, and ensure a secure, well-documented IT environment. The role combines hands-on technical work with planning, standards setting and oversight to keep systems secure and reliable in line with operational and compliance needs. The IT Specialist manages infrastructure, enterprise applications, information security and IT asset governance for all Group locations, and provides day-to-day IT support to staff. The employer operates across sectors including mining, processing, manufacturing, engineering, technology, agriculture, finance and trade, with head office in Abuja and activities in Kwara and Plateau states.
What you would do
- Provide day-to-day IT support to staff, both in person and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and systems incidents, performing root-cause analysis.
- Ensure IT services are logged, prioritised, and closed within agreed timelines.
- Administer and optimise enterprise platforms (Zoho and Echo CRM) including configurations and permissions.
- Manage identity and access lifecycle, provisioning and revocation of accounts and email.
- Oversee biometric attendance deployment and data reliability for HR.
- Handle software licensing, patch management and updates across the estate.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve outages and manage service levels.
- Design and deploy network and server infrastructure for new offices and sites.
- Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, IP allocations and baselines.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Six years of progressive IT experience, including supervision and multi-site delivery.
- Experience administering networks, servers, identity and access, backup and recovery in a multi-user environment.
- Experience with enterprise applications such as CRM, accounting or HR systems.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, CCNA, Microsoft or equivalent are an advantage.
