IT Security Planning & Architecture Resources Personnel (Level 2)

About this role

This role is for an IT security professional responsible for planning, architecture and implementation of security measures to protect the organisation's data and systems. It targets candidates with several years in security architecture and related areas, to lead security initiatives and work with development and IT teams in Lagos.

What you would do

• Lead investigations and assist management in defining data protection strategies
• Design and implement security controls for information systems and data
• Lead information security projects and ensure security requirements are met in development
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
• Monitor compliance with security requirements throughout development and operations
• Produce and maintain security documentation and awareness materials

What they are asking for

• Minimum of four years of work experience, including three years in security architecture
• Experience in identity management, vulnerability assessment, systems auditing, security architecture, network and wireless security
• Proven experience with the full secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) for SME projects
• Strong knowledge of security design and architecture
• Ability to plan end-to-end security programs and engage stakeholders
• Experience delivering security awareness training and materials
