About this role

The role is for an IT Security Planning and Architecture Resources Officer (Level 3) in Lagos, focused on leading and implementing information security initiatives, integrating security into the software development lifecycle, and ensuring data protection across systems and applications. It targets candidates with substantial security and architecture experience who can collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

What you would do

• Lead investigations and assist Senior Management in defining data protection strategies.
• Design and implement security controls for information systems and data
• Lead information security projects and ensure security requirements are met during development
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC and monitor compliance
• Liaise with stakeholders on security policies and best practices and ensure practical, sustainable controls
• Develop and deliver security awareness training and measure its effectiveness

What they are asking for

• Six to eight years of work experience with at least four years integrating applications and technology in a complex environment
• Experience with Identity Management technology
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, systems auditing, policy, database security, security architecture and models, network and wireless security
• Minimum of three years in security compliance and threat modeling
• Proven experience in the full Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) for small and large enterprise projects
• Experience in security architecture governance and standards
