What you would do
- Conduct risk assessments and suggest mitigations
- Detect, investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Implement and maintain security controls and best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing
- Review system and network logs for suspicious activities
- Monitor and analyse security alerts using SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS tools
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and risk management
- Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell or Bash) is an advantage
- Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Five years of relevant work experience
