IT Operations Lead
About this role
Strivo Labs in Lagos is seeking an experienced IT Operations Lead to manage the company’s IT infrastructure, systems and service delivery. The role focuses on ensuring availability, reliability, security and performance of IT services while leading the IT operations team and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
What you would do
- Lead day-to-day IT operations across infrastructure, systems, networks and end-user technology.
- Develop IT operations policies, procedures, standards and controls.
- Manage IT support and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and service requests.
- Monitor system performance and infrastructure health.
- Oversee vendor relationships and technology procurement.
- Lead the IT operations team and prepare management reports.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration or related technology role.
- 2-3+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud environments and enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); strong IT service management knowledge.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, access management and IT controls; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
