What you would do
- Provide technical support to staff and students to ensure IT systems run smoothly.
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, projectors and other IT devices.
- Manage and maintain school networks, internet connectivity and Wi-Fi.
- Ensure data security, integrity and regular backups of information systems.
- Maintain software, operating systems and antivirus applications.
- Support use of digital learning platforms and educational software.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
- Manage IT inventory including hardware, software licenses and resources.
- Implement IT policies, cybersecurity measures and data protection procedures.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining audiovisual equipment for classes and events.
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Good understanding of computer networking, internet connectivity and network security.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT support tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, data backup and data protection best practices.
- Experience with school management systems, learning management systems or ERP platforms is an added advantage.
- Relevant IT certifications are an added advantage.
