About this role
IT Auditor role focused on assessing IT risk and controls across systems, platforms and projects for RMB Nigeria, with a consultancy element and collaboration with internal audit teams.
What you would do
- Perform control reviews on systems development, operations, programming, control and security procedures
- Stay updated on technology trends, regulatory requirements and audit practices
- Discuss draft reports with auditees and finalise management comments and action plans
- Work with RMB Nigeria Group Internal Audit and Group/Brader Africa IT auditors
- Evaluate audits across hardware, OS, databases, network infrastructure and applications
- Conduct process audits and advise on technical, methodological and statutory issues
What they are asking for
- Extensive experience in General Controls Review, Application Controls Review, CAATs and Project Auditing
- Proficiency in audit analytics tools, Power BI and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance standards and cybersecurity principles
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CISA; CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (advantageous)
- Four years of experience in IT audit, process audit, risk management or technology assurance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
