About this role

IS Business Partner, SBAM, based in Rivers, Nigeria, for Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited. The role provides business analysis and consultancy to client entities, helps define IS strategy and medium-to-long-term plans, and coordinates major IS projects while ensuring ongoing maintenance of IST systems and services.

What you would do

• Define and formulate IS strategy and medium-to-long-term IS plans for the client entity.
• Assist the client in forecasting IS resource requirements and budgets and incorporate into the affiliate's IST budget.
• Provide business analysis to identify and implement IST solutions.
• Lead significant IST projects from requirements analysis to deployment and integration.
• Assist the requesting entity in searching for and acquiring new software and ensure its integration into the company's IS environment.
• Coordinate activities of IST entities to ensure effective maintenance and support of existing IST systems and services for client entities.

What they are asking for

• BSc degree in an IS/IT related subject.
• MSc in a related discipline is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 7 years broad IS/IT experience, ideally in both development and support roles.
• Extensive knowledge of the oil and gas business, operations, activities and processes.
• Extensive knowledge of current and developing IS/IT industry solutions and how these could be used to meet client business entities.
