About this role
The Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager role, based in Lagos, involves sourcing, structuring and closing capital from high-net-worth individuals, family offices and private investors to fund manufacturing and real-sector opportunities. It is a deal-closing position focused on converting investor conversations into committed capital within defined timelines and building a long-term investor base.
What you would do
- Source and secure capital from HNIs, family offices and private investors across local and international markets including the GCC.
- Present structured investment opportunities across equity, debt, commercial papers, direct lending, and Islamic financing.
- Drive investor conversations from introduction to commitment and fund deployment.
- Maintain a clear pipeline of active investor discussions with defined timelines and expected close values.
- Serve as the primary contact for investors, building long-term relationships and providing updates on investment performance and portfolio developments.
- Support deal structuring and execution by collaborating with internal teams on due diligence, financial modelling inputs, and documentation; coordinate with legal and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
- 5-10 years experience in investor relations, private banking, wealth management, corporate finance, investment banking or related fields; demonstrated track record of raising capital from HNIs, family offices or private investors.
- Strong existing network of HNIs, family offices or private investors.
- Deep understanding of investment products and structuring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; high integrity, discretion and professionalism; strong commercial judgement and execution discipline; ability to independently manage a high-value fundraising pipeline.
- MBA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
