Inventory Team Lead - Jumia (Full Time)

About this role

The Inventory Team Lead at Jumia supervises a team of inventory operators to ensure accurate stock management in the warehouse, from receiving through reporting. The role is based in Abuja and targets a candidate with warehouse or inventory management experience, who has NYSC certification or a valid exemption and can work flexible shifts.

What you would do

• Supervise and lead a team of inventory operators, providing guidance and coaching.
• Oversee receiving, storing, counting and tracking of inventory levels, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise inventory processes.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Train and mentor inventory operators on procedures, equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock movements, update records and generate KPI reports.
