Inventory Supervisor

What you would do
- Supervise receipt, offloading and checking of materials against orders and delivery documents
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection and approval of incoming materials
- Ensure proper storage by category and condition and keep warehouse layout organized
- Record all stock movements in the ERP or inventory system on the same day
- Issue materials to production against approved requisitions with supporting documents
- Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels and flag potential stockouts or overstocking
- Plan and conduct cycle counts and full stock takes; reconcile and investigate variances
- Work with Finance and Internal Audit on stock valuation and audits
- Track near-expiry, slow-moving, obsolete and damaged stock and report to management
- Coordinate preparation, loading and dispatch of finished goods with relevant teams
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics or a related field
- 3–5 years’ inventory or warehouse management experience in FMCG or manufacturing, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Hands-on experience with an ERP or inventory management system
- Knowledge of FEFO / FIFO and warehouse best practices
- Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
- Good Excel skills for stock analysis and reporting
- Organisational and time management skills
- Integrity and strong internal control discipline
- Leadership and team supervision
- Clear communication across production, finance and procurement
