About this role
Max.ng is recruiting an Inventory Officer for Osogbo, Osun. The role involves receiving new stock, recording it in the ERP, issuing parts and engine oil to the refurbishment and fleet teams, and monitoring stock levels with weekly replenishment using Odoo.
What you would do
- Receive new stock and perform physical counts, updating the ERP and stock sheets.
- Issue parts to the refurbishment team and document items issued.
- Issue engine oil for maintenance and record on the ERP and relevant sheets.
- Monitor stock levels, determine reorder quantities, and review stock weekly to trigger replenishment on Odoo.
- Raise purchase requests on Odoo for fleet/refurbishment parts and other items; monitor stock movement and reconcile discrepancies with regular counts.
- Analyse demand trends to identify fast-moving and slow-moving stock to optimise funds.
What they are asking for
- 2-3+ years experience in mechanical, technical, fleet operational and inventory roles.
- Experience in startups, mobility, fintech, logistics, marketplaces or tech-enabled businesses preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong maths skills with critical and analytical thinking.
- Experience with performance marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing and analytics tools.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Mechanical Engineering; minimum BSc/HND; MBA or relevant certifications advantageous.
