Inventory Officer

Role: Inventory Officer for Agricare Std Plus Ltd in Oyo. You will oversee all aspects of inventory management, including stock control, procurement, storage and distribution, and you must keep accurate records while analysing stock levels to optimise turnover and minimise stockouts. The position is for candidates with proven inventory management experience, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.

What you would do

• Monitor and control inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular stock counts.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory shipments, verifying quantities, quality, and condition against purchase orders or packing slips.
• Update inventory databases, systems, or spreadsheets to reflect stock transactions and movements, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
• Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, ageing analysis, and turnover ratios, to assess performance and identify trends.
• Forecast inventory requirements by analysing demand patterns, forecasts, and historical data; set reorder points and optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with procurement to place orders for replenishment stock, ensuring timely delivery and availability of inventory items.

• BSc or HND or equivalent; additional education in Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• Minimum of three years' proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills for collaboration with different teams.
