Inventory Control Clerk

About this role

Inventory Control Clerk sought for Terra Energy Services Nigeria Limited to manage and reconcile inventory in an upstream oil and gas setting, with a focus on accuracy, traceability and HSE compliance. The role targets candidates with warehouse and inventory control experience, preferably in oil and gas, and a relevant qualification in logistics or related fields.

What you would do

• Escalate stock discrepancies and risks to the supervisor
• Maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, returns and stock balances
• Maintain material codes, bin locations and traceability records
• Keep inventory and warehouse records for audits
• Ensure inventory transactions and documentation are completed accurately and on time
• Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete materials; support picking, staging and dispatch for offshore/project operations; conduct cycle counts and reconciliations

What they are asking for

• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in oil and gas with upstream exposure
• OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
• Relevant supply chain or warehouse management certification is advantageous
• Hands-on experience in inventory control, warehouse operations and material management
• Knowledge of HSE requirements, procedures and technical documentation
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
