About this role
The role is for an Internal Control Team Lead at Dangote Industries Limited, based in Lagos. What you would do
- Liaise with departments to ensure compliance with Business Process Controls.
- Review and ensure internal control levels align with policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess design, implementation, maintenance, and operating effectiveness of controls for financial reporting integrity.
- Ensure evidence from controls testing is archived and accessible to management and auditors.
- Review vendor and customer creation and credit settings.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounts, and operating teams to embed internal controls in processes.
- Coordinate testing of controls by external auditors for certification.
- Develop Internal Control awareness and training for staff.
- Identify business risks and develop preventive strategies.
- Supervise Internal Control team members and ensure ERP/process controls are followed.
